Hi all,
I'm trying to define a message set with tagged/delimited format. I'm doing the simplest as I can : at the Message Set level, only the Tag Data Separator (set to : ), the Delimiter (set to | ) and the Data Element Separation (set to Tagged delimited ) are set.
I have a simple flow (MQInput -> Trace -> MQOutput), with a MRM parsing on the MQInput node. My message is also simple :
TYPETEST:totototo
When entering the MQInput node, my message is NOT well interpreted. When I check the internal structure of my message in the debugger, the MRM branch is totally empty.
So, my questions :
1. What did I do wrong to get this result ?
2. I thought that an MQInput Node rejected a message through its failure node when it is not able to parse the message. It seems to be false. Is it really ?
Thanks for your help

Did you have a look at the following support pac ?:
http://www.ibm.com/software/ts/mqseries/txppacs/id05.html
which explains how to use and define tagged/delimited messages in WMQI (version 2.1). Hope it's your cas. If so, you'll have all the answers to your questions.
If you have still some problems, tell me. |

OK, I just found the answer to my problem. It's a bug in WMQI, already exposed by another user in this forum.
In the MQInput node configuration pane, the "Format" listbox exposes the name of each physical layer you've defined. The problem is that WMQI uses this name as an information for parsing the message, though it should use the identifier of the physical layer.
The bug will be corrected in the CSD 02. |

...that's why we use same Format Name and Format Id
