Hello there,
I have a very strange problem. Whenever I try to connect to the config manager on server using the message brokers toolkit, I get the following response in the windows event log:
Event ID 9245, source webSphere MQ:
"Unable to obtain account details for channel MCA user ID.
WebSphere MQ was unable to obtain the account details for MCA user ID <myuserid@network>. This user ID was the MCA user ID for channel 'SYSTEM.BKR.CONFIG' on queue manager 'RAAI01' and may have been defined in the channel definition, or supplied either by a channel exit or by a client.
Ensure that the user ID is correct and that it is defined on the Windows local system, the local domain or on a trusted domain. For a domain user ID, ensure that all necessary domain controllers are available. "
This message occurs twice, afterwards, I get the following messages from BIPv500, Event ID 8282:
"( ConfigMgr ) Error in call LookupAccountSid() to the NT security domain with return code 87.
A component of WebSphere Business Integration Message Brokers is attempting to call the NT security domain. The security subsystem returned an error code.
Check NT security subsystem documentation for the reported error. Restart the relevant service component (UserNameServer, or Configuration Manager). Ensure that a Domain Controller, either Primary or Backup, is available. "
and Event ID 1707:
"( ConfigMgr ) Unknown user encountered within the Configuration Manager.
An unknown user exception was caught by the Configuration Manager RoleManager class when calling the UGRegistry class. The user has not been given access to the resource.
Retry the operation. If the exception still occurs, turn on Configuration Manager tracing to capture details of the exception, and contact your IBM support center."
This error-pair occurs three times in a row. Afterwards, I don´t have access from my toolkit to the topology of our broker (i.e. no flows, brokers etc.)
This only occurs when I have installed a Message Broker on my client machine. When using a different PC with the same userID, but with no broker installed (or the same PC after deinstalling the broker), I can connect, so it doesn´t seem to depend on the userID but on the configuration.
When I connect to the server and use the toolkit installed there, I also don´t have any problems connecting to the configmanager.
Also, I haven´t yet seen a way include the toolkit into the normal eclipse where I can develop my Java-Programs, which would be great.
Client PC is using Win 2000, Server is Win 2003.
MQ-Version is 5.3, WBIMB is 5.0
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
Martin |

You seem to be running into either a connectivity problem, reaching the Windows Domain Controller or the Configuration Manager machine for security lookups, or you are running into a security problem.
You may also need to restart the config manager.

You can only include the toolkit into WSAD Integration Edition, not regular WSAD. I do not think you can use the Toolkit with plain old Eclipse, I think you need WSAD extensions first, and then more extensions on top of that. Also, the Toolkit only works with a particular version level of Eclipse, so if you have a newer level, it won't work also. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |

Have you specified a userid in MCAUSER attribute of SYSTEM.BKR.CONFIG svrconn channel?
If so , it is recommended to remove same , otherwise you have to grant permission to specified MCAUSER than the user id that is shown in the error and you are using . Why so ? Because MQSeries client connection has the property where in incoming connection user id will be used only if the MCAUSER is blank , otherwise MCAUSER user will be used for all authority checks ... |

I am not sure exactly but I guess I had similar problem with user id....what i did was to install CSD again. Make sure the toolkit shows the updated CSD level. |
