Hi,
Recently I entered to MQ world... At this moment I have a cuestion for the old wolves of MQ sea.
I need to delete a damage Dinamic queue. The theory said that deleting the model queue, all of the dinamics queues will deleted too, including those damaged.
Well, I deleted the model queue but, the dinamic queue still persists, when I run the "dis q(*)" using the runmqsc commands.
I went to check the "/var/mqm/qmgrs/QMgrname/queues" and the file of the dinamic queue not exist.... but when I run the "dis q" the dinamic queues is shown.
Any ideas?
Please advice me...
Thanks

Have you tried issuing the 'delete ql(q-name)' command against the queue from runmqsc? You should get a message about the object being damaged, but it should get deleted.
Also, if you have these dynamic queues laying around, I'd ask your developers to look into their MQCLOSE options. You might want to specify to delete the queue on close. |

Have you tried bouncing the queue manager? |
