Hi,
I'm doing a simple select from a database, our security model uses a synonym from the current schema to a view (with select granted) on another schema. This view is sourced from a table in this other schema.
In my esql I have the warning "Unresolvable database table reference", I have imported the database so I can reference the tables directly, it is just giving the warning while selecting from the syn or the view.
The database is Oracle 9i and I'm running WBIMB 5.0.3.
Has anyone else had this issue? I would like to understand why the ESQL can't reference these, and therefore can't autocomplete.
Thanks for your help

Is that Waring symbol(small yellow triangle) or error (red circle)...??
did u run the flow?? got any expceptionList ?? or just curious why is it showing a warning symbol.
well! if its a warning symbol ur talking......In the toolkit, the warning symbol shows for the statements where use a reference ..like
Code: |
Database."schemaName"."Tablename" as db |
but its not harmful....u shud succeed in the flow.

Hi Sanu,
Thanks for the reply. It isn't causing any problems and the flow does work, it is purely a warning. It's just something that I am more curious about rather than causing any issues.
I can successfully reference tables, it's just when I try to reference synonyms or views that it gives the warning. It may be as simple as WBIMB doesn't account for them.

That can be resolved by setting the appropriate "project references":- Right-click on the mesage flow project
- Select Properties
- In the left pane, click on Project References
- In the right pane, select the appropriate Message Set project
- Click okay
