Hi,
I need to increase the shared memory for MQ on windows server which is running on Windows 2000 with servicepack 4. How can I do this? Is it done using the registry entry?
Depends what you mean. You can increate the swapper size (My computer, properties, advanced...) for the system
You dont have any control over the shared memory size MQ uses etc. In fact since 5.2, most (all?) of the tuning parms people used to use to work around shared memory limitations are no longer needed due to a change in the allocation algorithum
