We're looking to send messages back and forth between our MQ queue manager and PDAs out in the field and are looking at MQ Everyplace as a possible solution.
Some messages will be initiated from the PDAs and some will initiate from the MQ queue manager.
What would be the best solution in this scenario? Does the MQe server just act as a go between the MQ server and the PDAs? What exactly is configured on the PDAs as far as MQe just a client so that it connects/transmits to the MQe server which is turn transports the message to/from the MQ server?
I was able to create a test MQe server on windows and send a message from MQ to MQe but cannot figure out how to be able to send a message from MQe to MQ. What am I missing, is this even performed like this or is all the communicating that direction only initiating from the MQe client on the PDA?
Any help would be greatly appreciated so that we can move forward in our solution analysis.
