If I need to allow the user to use ms word to print out a dynamically generated document at one point during the process. I am thinking of specifying the ms word as a support tool. My question is, do I first need to first generate the word document and store it somewhere first, then pass the location as a parameter to the support tool to allow the user to open the docuemnt and then click PRINT. Any experience in this?

I think you can write a piece of code to do what you want, such as, firstly generate the document you needed, then invoke ms word to open it. Then compile the code to a executable file and put it into BIN folder under Workflow installation directory or somewhere you can invoke through MQWF.
And then you define the program in MQWF buildTime to assign the executable file to. Define this program as the support tool at any point of the whole process.
