I am new to MQ, trying to learn. Installed MQ 5.3 on a windows xp box and a MQ client on second xp box. Have a queue manager, queue and server connection channel(TEST_SVRCONN) on first box. Ran command
SET MQSERVER=TEST_SVRCONN/TCP/IP address of first box (1490) on the second box. When i try to put message using amqsputc command to the local queue on the first box i get the error MQCONN ended with reason code 2035. Please help me.

The command on the server
mqrc 2035
will tell you that you have an authorization problem.

The userid you are using on the second box has no authorizations on the first box.

Look into admin manual and command setmqaut, dspmqaut, dmpmqaut.

Thanks a lot man for your suggestion. I created the same username and password that is on my second box onto the first box and it worked. Thanks again.
