I am new to this MQ Stuff. I am working with Broker 5.0.3.
If I make any changes to an esql, then do I have to add this flow to the bar file and then add teh bar file to the execution group tp deploy it?
Also what is teh best way to import a message flow to this new version from the previous version 2.1. Help would really appreciated.

Try reading Migration From 2.1 to WBIMB 5.0 documentation.
You will find the message set and message flow commands for moving data from WMQI2.1 to WBIMB5.0

mqsimigratemsgflows for messageFlows and wqsimigratemsgset. you should find these commands in C:\Program Files\IBM\WBIMB Toolkit\eclipse.

Example batch file for importing message flows:
- cd C:\Program Files\IBM\WBIMB Toolkit\eclipse
- mqsimigratemsgflows -p xxxxx_MsgFlows -d
C:\MQSeriesMigration\AA500E\MQI\MFLOW

where -p is the projekt in your workbench and -d is the path were the flows are located. check the produced log for migration errors
