I've successfully configured the MQSeries Workflow, and created a user ID in Workflow Buildtime. Exported the user ID using fmcibie command, and tried to logon using the user ID, but failed. I keep on getting the error "FMC_API_ERROR_TIMEOUT: A timeout has occurred".

Pls. explain how can I go into the Workflow Runtime.

If you can not start the IBM supplied Windows client, you have not installed workflow correctly. See the Installation guide for complete instructions

Hi.

I have the same error... I'm trying to logon into the MQWF Client after I configured both Runtime (in a Solaris machine) and Buildtime, and I get the same error (fmc_api_error_timeout - a timeout error occurred)

Does anyone have any idea about this error?

My problem was due to not having any client configuration. Maybe you could check if you've configured both your server and client config, according to the installation guide given.

Verify too if you started the trigger monitor from your queue manager FMCQM.

When you don'n start it, the Execution Server doesn't start... and you will have problems with workflow runtime client operations.
