in Java, how would I set the correllation ID to a message to MYMESSAGE1 ?

Try something like:

MQMessage myMsg = new MQMessage();
String correlationId = "MYMESSAGE1";
myMsg.correlationId = correlationId.getBytes();

great, I appreciate your help.

When I read the message how would i get it to spit out "mymessage1" NOT hex data so,

instead of:

Code:

System.out.print(" CorrelId : ");
dumpHexId(myMsg.correlationId);
