Hi All,
I am doing a monitor list just like Activity Instance List. The monitor list needs to retrieve only the process instances the user participated and show all the activities of these process instances.
I want to know that how can I retrieve only the process instances the user participated. If a user is a participant of a process instance but has no right to access this process instance, can I retrieve all the activities of this process instance for this user.
Thanks in advance. |

I do not know of an easy way to retrieve all instances that a user participated in. What eactly do you mean by this? I am assuming that if a user ran Activity n in Process m you would want to retrieve that instance. If this is the case, there is no single API call that you could make to get this information that I am aware of. You would probably have the most luck if you designed your application to allow for this. My first thought would be to use a member in the GDC to hold the userids of all particpating users. This of course, would be a real pain to go and retro-fit into an existing model. _________________ John McDonald

I know that I can retrieve all instances the user has access to. How can I retrieve the instances that a user participated in from these instances? |

Maybe I am being dense, but I still do not understand what you mean... Can you give an example? _________________ John McDonald
