Hi,

We use MQ for transfering IDOCS .When there is some thing wrong with the IDOC it goes to BADMESSAGE queue. There is a script which notifys that a message is put to BADMESSAGE queue. But we would like to include the information why the message was put to BADMESSAGE queue. How can we read the IDOC before putting to BADMESSAGE queue and add it in the notification?

Thanks
Hema

This is the third time you've asked this question.

I don't think you've explained it well enough for anyone to be able to give you a different answer than you've received.

If you want to read an IDOC file, and build a notification based on the contents, you need to write a program that can read an IDOC file and build a notification.

Or, in some cases, there may be tools that you are using that can already process an IDOC file for you, in a way that a notification can be built.

But we need to know what tools you are using, to be able to tell you if that's the case or not.

Jeff sounds like he is using MQLink for R-3

I believe the reason for putting a message onto the BAD.MESSAGE.QUEUE is to be found in the corresponding MQLink log file.

Normally we need some human intervention if this case happens. First the cause must be ascertained and then the source will have to correct the case.

This should never happen in Production. Only in development/QA.
