Hi all,
I've been trying to get the debugger to work on a remote machine. I've verified that the IBM Agent Controller service is running on the remote machine. Error message indicates that the remote agent controller isn't set up to communicate with my local machine.

Problem is, I can't find any doc on how to configure this. The closest I get is instructions on how to install the agent controller (where remote hosts are mentioned), but surely it can be reconfigured somehow after installation?

It's not trivial for me to get to the remote machine and reinstall the controller.

Any help greatly appreciated!

/Martin

Hey, quick reply, thanks!

I'd try it, but then I read the doc. It says:
Quote:

-l 2, 0, or 1
(Optional)This parameter must be set to 2.

This made me a bit uneasy, and also, what does it mean?

Can you shed any light on this?

/Martin

its not allowing you to connect because the default 2, which only accepts connections from computers in that windows domain.

make it 0 to accept all connections.

I did not see any immediate threat with this work around when i had same problem so i went for that one.

Hi,

I solved this with the help of a collegue.

As I suspected, it is the Agent Controller that needs tweaking. By running SetConfig.bat in the Controllers \bin library, you can set the service to accept all hosts or a specified list. After changing this, restart the Agent Controller service and the broker on the remote machine.
