All,
the NEON SAP adapter running on a Solaris box successfully puts messages to a queue. However, I get those messages, dump them unchanged into a file, then on my Win2K laptop try to put them to a queue and the put fails RC=2334 because the RFH header has an invalid CCSID field (binary zeroes).
So, how is it that the SAP adapter can successfully put messages with invalid RFH headers?? Does MQPUT behave differently on Solaris from Win2K??
Can anyone enlighten me?
Cliff

This doesn't sound good ... from Version 5.1 of MQ to Version 5.2, the default values of the MQHRF strcuture changed. This usually meant re-compiling the offending application. It is possible that the NEON adpater program may need recompiled. |

Neil,
thanks for your reply. We have lodged a query with Sybase and have also changed the SAP adapter to output RFH2 headers instead, which I'm about to have a look at. Let's hope for better things from now on....
