Lets say I have 1000 workitems in my Worklist.
How does WF query workitems in the database, in the following scenarios?
1) If I dont have any threshold set up, When I refresh my Worklist, WF does q query for all 1000 workitems, am I right?
2) If I have a threshold set to 10, WF will do a query for only first 10 workitems and return them to the Worklist, am I right?
Please share your ideas.
Thanks

It is my opinion that MQWF always queries and gets all workitems from the database that match the filters, then it sorts, then it returns WI to you based on your threshold. _________________ John McDonald

John,
I believe with MQ Workflow version 3.4 onwards the threshold is part of the SQL generated. It's true that versions below 3.4 it was taken care by workflow and not the databse (SQL) _________________ -manoj |
