Hi All,
Here is my cluster scenario ...
I have a cluster in which it has 2 queue managers "MSPDTE02405" and "TYPHOO". In these "MSPDTE02405" is residing on one(my) machine and "TYPHOO" queue manager is residing on another machine. I have a cluster queue called USRXX.MYACCOUNT.MQSI.INPUT on "TYPHOO". For this clustered queue i have an alias queue "GFSCAMS.REG_USR.SYNC.OUTPUT.REQUEST" on "MSPDTE02405".
Now when i am trying to place a message to "GFSCAMS.REG_USR.SYNC.OUTPUT.REQUEST" using MQ-Base java my application is working fine and its placing a message to actual queue "USRXX.MYACCOUNT.MQSI.INPUT ".
But when i am trying to do the same using MQ/JMS (with JNDI) its giving an error
"2008 - failed to open MQQueue".
( I created lookup for queue manager MSPDTE02405 and alias queue GFSCAMS.REG_USR.SYNC.OUTPUT.REQUEST using JMSAdmin tool).
Any one having idea , reply me asap.
Thanks
Eswar

I'm curious, is the alias queue necessary for your particular system? In other words, have you tried running the JMS application but putting the message to the clustered queue called "USRXX.MYACCOUNT.MQSI.INPUT" rather than the alias definition on the local queue manager? Unless you have some naming convention to follow, there isn't much need to use alias queues within clusters...

Hi Brandon Duncan,
I tried to place message in to USRXX.MYACCOUNT.MQSI.INPUT clustered queue directly also, but the result is same. Its working fine with MQ-base and not working with MQJMS(failed to open MQQueue).
I really need this very urgently, any body having idea reply me asap.
Thanks
