I have to build a flow that manages many (hundred of thousands) messages whit database (AIX UDB) interactions (insert and update). I want to coordinate the updates made to database with other actions within the message flow so I’m considering configuring a XAResourceManager.
The question is, as many concerns arise, what is the impact on performance and system resource (CPU and memory) requirements?

Thanks Emilio

You will get extra disk logging, we found this reduced throughput by around 30%. But you should measure it on your application to see the effect in your environment. Fast-Write Cached disks will help.
