Hi,
We are about to set up a proc to end the qmgr to be able to save the log files.
- do we have to stop the channels and verify that they have all stopped correctly before executing the endmqm command?
- or the endmqm command will stop all the channels?
When you issue an endmqm -c QMGR_NAME <-c is the default> then the queue manager will finishing all outstanding work, will not accept any new connections, and will shut down all channels.
- does the endmqm command ALSO delete the following processes?
amqztrcn - trace process
runmqtrm - trigger monitor
runmqdlq - dlq handler
runmqlsr - listerner runmqlsr
because it is said in system admin guide - chap 17 mqseries control commands - that before stopping the listener runmqlsr with the enmqlsr commande we NEED to stop the queue manager before
is it the same for the processes: ???
amqztrcn - trace process
runmqtrm - trigger monitor
runmqdlq - dlq handler
because we have the commands:
endmqtrc - to end tracing
endmqcsv - to end command server
but no control command to end the dead letter queue handler
