You will need to

a) add com.ibm.mq.jar to the classpath BEFORE starting the Broker (it wont pick this up from the classes directory

or

b) write your own classloader to pick this up (I haven't done this)

Will the very useful MQDisable node also work on with WMQI V2.1 on z/OS ?
(I ask as we once had issues in a MQSeries-only application due to the non-availability of the MQAI or PCF commandinterface on USS?)

Any response or specific z/OS considerations would be appreciated....

In principle, it should work. Have you tried it?

Is the disable node supported by IBM or is it a use it at your own risk? We have stayed away from using non-category 3 support pacs. Is anyone using this in production?

Thanks

Kolban,

I am trying to install the MQDisable plug-in and I am having problems.

First,I cannot get the MQDisable.xml file on the website ,I can only get the following files MQDisable.gif, MQDisable30.gif ,MQDisable42.gif, MQDisable58.gif ,MQDisable84.gif , MQDisable.jar and MQDisable.properties.

My broker is running on Unix server and the configuration manager is on WIN2k Server.I am running WMQI 2.1

When i restart the configuration manager i am not picking up the node. Not sure if this is due to the fact that im missing the xml file.

Please help ASAP.

Send me a PM with your email address and I will send the XML file. I've customized this node further to add few more properties, but I'm sure I can customize the xml to original node. After you test successfully, you can then post the xml in this forum.

How do you know the node is not loaded?
