I'm trying to setup a triggered program (COBOL) running on AS400 with v. 4.2.1 of MQ. What I need to do is when a message arrives on a queue, trigger a process which refers to the program. The program will then accept as input, two parms, an input queue and an output queue. This program will then do a GET (Browse) from the input queue and a PUT to the output queue (RMTq).
For some reason this isn't working. The messages arrive, but it doesn't appear that the triggered process/program is being run.
Is this possible in the program to connect to the QMgr, open two different queues, GET(browse) one and PUT to the other ?
I basically want to put copies of any messages on a different QMgr with the same exact queues.
