One of our customers wants us to obtain data through an mq series server. I have developed clients that connect to mq series before, however i want him to send info from his MQ series server to one of our webservices is this possible. Is it an adapter that is needed on the mq series server. Basically how does one integrate between mq series and some other application that does not use mq series. Can the mq series send queue automatically send information to a customer via some other protocol ie http post, ftp , or some other protocol. |

You are putting too many questions and making it difficult for others to understand and suggest you some thing.
Defenetly you can use MQ .Try to explain what actually you want to contact admin. Then some one will suggest you some solution. |

Boz,
MQSeries doesn't care what the content of a message is. It can send a message which contains XML, Soap, etc.
However, MQSeries can only deliver that message to a queue.
It is up to some other application to retrieve that message from the queue and process it.
So no, MQSeries cannot make a web service call directly.
However, you can have an application which watches for the arrival of messages on a queue, and then as those messages arrive, it retrieves those messages, makes the appropriate web service call, and then optionally send a reply message back to whatever originated the first message. _________________ Brandon Duncan
