If I have a multiple apps pulling messages off of the same queue, what keeps app1 and app2 from getting the same message? |

When the message is pulled from the queue, it is 'hidden' from other applications. If the 1st app then commits, the message is removed. If it rolls back, then the message id "un-hidden".

And just to qualify what Eddie said, if you aren't using syncpoint, there is no problem because it's simply the first MQGET that wins, and the message is removed without the possibility of any other application getting it. _________________ Brandon Duncan
