Hi all,
I am newbie learning MQ Integrator using trial versions. I bought a 1 year subscription at the IBM's site and downloaded MQ Integrator Broker V 2.1. I also downloaded and installed WebSphere MQ series V 5.3, along with CSD 5.0.(installed later). But when I view the memo.ptf file in the MQ Series folder I still find that the memo.ptf file says that it is verion 1 ( CSD 1). Does this CSD1 surely donot work with Inegrator Broker V 2.1.

After a complete installation, I tried to create a "HelloWorld" Message flow by putting a Message in an XYZ.INPUT queue. But the XYZ.OUTPUT queue does'nt receive any. I completed all the formalities like: configuring the nodes, defining the input and output queues, checkingout the resources.

Is there any thing I missed out?
Thanks in advance.

I am assuming you have setup your broker domain correctly, like created config mgr, broker, assigned broker to the topology, etc.
Can you add a Trace node to the catch terminal of your MQInput node and print ${ExceptionList} into some file. If there is any error in your messageflow, ExceptionList will give more details about it. Do you see any error logged into Event Viewer?

Hi Pvemuri,
You are saying you installed CSD5 for WebSphere MQ series V 5.3 if it is you should verify it by saying the command mqver to know what level of csds installed for MQ.memo.ptf shows only CSDs applied for MQSI.
if you installed CSD5 for WMQI.Its cummulative.you should start installing from CSD1 through CSD5.

And if your message is not going to Output Queue where is it going.did u Connected the fail terminal and check whether it is following that route or still staying in your input queue. If it's going to failure terminal ,you can generate ExceptionList as kirani said and post it here.

Pvemuri,

Installing earlier CSDs is not needed, the CSD is cummulative and contains all changes from previous CSDs.
