On November 3, 2003, MQ Visual Edit v1.0.0 was officially released.

The following enhancements / fixes have been made:
- New: Ability to open / display multiple queues from multiple queue managers at the same time.
- New: Backup and/or Restore of all messages or selected messages to / from a file. The backup includes both the MQMD and the data.
- New feature: Clear messages in a queue that are older than "x" hours or "x" days.
- New support for various "Look and Feel" themes i.e. Metal, Motif/CDE and Windows.

To continue the development / support of MQ Visual Edit, we have decided to make it a shareware product: Free trial for 30 days (no nag screens). All features work but you are limited to 1 queue manager (trial version only).

MQ Visual Edit will sell for $99.00 USD for a single user license. Volume pricing will be as follows:
