How to set application identity |

Hi,
I want to set the Application Identity with my java program. I want to send this as parameter. how to set that.

Hmmm... someone will correct me if I'm wrong, but I think this is automatically set by the queue manager. While it may not let you set this to any arbitrary value, you can pass the APPLICID field from one message onto the next. This is done with a parameters called PASS_ALL_CONTEXT or PASS_IDENTITY_CONTEXT
I'll have to look into this more...

Please look into the MQJava pdf..line#109..
applicationIdData
public String applicationIdData
Part of the identity context of the message; it is information that is defined
by the application suite, and can be used to provide additional information
about the message or its originator.
The default value is .
but i am unable to set the applicationIDData...please explain me with code.
