Hello, I have a remote definition that points to an alias clustered queue. It seems that the alias does not get resolved to the local queue. Does this seem right?
Thank you |

Am I understanding this correctly. You have a Remote definition, on QMA, that points to QUEUE1, using an Alias, on QMB. QUEUE1 is defined as Clustered on QMC where QMB and QMC are in the same Cluster.
If that is so, then as it stands, I think the message will go to the DLQ on QMB because the message will arrive on QMB with a specific QM/QUEUE combination that doesn't exist. Is that what is happening.
You may get around this by using a QM Alias on QMB to 'remove ' the QM.
You could also try removing the Queue Manager name from the Remote definition (if it will let you ), as long as you have the XMITQ defined, so MQ knows where to send the message.
