Hello,
I have MQseries Queues which are Triggered , so when data arrives on these Queues , the Trigger generate Files.
Ok this runs very good.
But the Problem is that datas arrives on time in the month and I want to monitore when the data arrives or the files are created . So it's so quick when the Trigger make the Files that I cannot monitore the Queue Depth.
Is there a configuration on the MO71 GUI to monitore this (perhaps with alarm or beep) or a program who send me a mail when the files are on the servers (HP-UX servers).
Can anyone help me. Thanks a lot... |

Let's see is understand your configuration correctly.
You have an application that gets triggered to get messages from a queue, and generates files from these messages. This happens only once a month, so you want to know when it happens.
Suggestion: Change the trigger process so that it logs a message somewher (sends email using 'blat', 'net send' a message to a user, etc.) and then kicks off the file-generator. |
