Hi guys
I am trying to install MQ Workflow on windows XP. In order to use Java Web client of workflow,
(1)Do i have to install the WAS(Web Application Server) before installing and configuring workflow
(2) Is it ok to install and configure workflow and then install WAS.
If ques(2) is ok...and suppose i already configured workflow before installing WAS..then how to configure workflow and WAS so that i can use Java Web Client..
I have read through the installing guide.. i couldn't get any info on this topic.. Any help on this topic would be appreciated.

You can create another workflow configuration and select just the web client component for that configuration. I am not sure but may be you can also modify the first configuration. I have done that for other components but never for a web client. |

After examining the log file ....
Found CSD value 'CSD00'
18 Nov 2003 11:32:34 Found CSD value 'Shipped'
18 Nov 2003 11:32:34 Shipped CSD level is 'CSD01'
Does this mean that the shipped CSD value did not match with CSD value
found on my system. Also says MQ client is not installed. Also my "JavaMsg" feature is not installed. Also it says "MSI product 'SupportPac MA88' is not installed". Can any body explain wat it is and how to fix this problem..

I am not a WAS guy, but...
Do you have MQ already installed on this box? I think if you already have MQ, then WAS will use the existing MQ. If not, it will install its own embedded MQ (which cannot be completely like full blown MQ). If you already have MQ on that box, then while you install WAS, you can uncheck the messaging component of WAS I guess. |
