Hi.
Documentation for this is configusing to me, as 95% of it is reffering to authenticating incoming requests. Thats not what I need.
I need to authneticate myself for a SOAP web service (hosted by neighbouring ACE Node).
Now, I found this:
https://www.ibm.com/docs/en/app-connect/11.0.0?topic=ciastv-authenticating-incoming-requests-by-using-credentials-stored-in-vault
And the documentation says, that the credential-type is meant to be "local". So, ok.
But in this article: https://www.ibm.com/docs/en/app-connect/11.0.0?topic=commands-mqsicredentials-command
I thought I'm meant to use "soap" credential-type, if I want to use WS_Security for Soap Request Node.
So, with that in mind, my command looked like this
mqsicredentials NODE -e SIP3 --create --credential-name NSIP --credential-type soap --username username --password password --vaultrc-location /var/mqsi/xxx/xxx/yyy/vvv
The problem I'm running into now is that I can't for the life of me set the security profile correctly.
I'm getting errors like 'The identity provider 'soap' does not exist.' or, 'Creation of the local security provider failed. The credential 'NSIP' of type 'local' was not found.'
And worst of all, I just can't find a documentation on how to set it up correctly. Do you have any experience with this? I'm stuck.
Kind regards |
