To configure a floating IP address in a cloud infrastructure, you could configure a load balancer to sit between client traffic and the queue manager. The load balancer would need to know which node is currently running a given RDQM and forward requests to that node from the LB. The LB would then be given a virtual IP address (VIP). This VIP would serve as the floating IP address for the queue manager in question.
Each queue manager would get it's own VIP which forwards packets to the node running said queue manager.
