My client decided to cut costs and get MQ ZOS software in CDR mode. I've never supported ZOS MQ in CDR mode.
I was curious on how you do a backoff should there be a really bad defect when implementing a new release?
1) Do you bring down MQ and force a HSM backup or DFS backup of Queue Manager specific datasets before you upgrade so you could do a restore of those datasets on a backoff scenario?
2) In a DR, probably test one, have you come up where MQ couldnt recover and you had to cold start?
