Does anyone have WRTHRSH set greater than 20?
RMF reports are showing a ton of I/O to the volumes containing my active logs. Our DB2 systems does not do near this amount of I/O. I have the OUTBUFF set to 4000, but my WRTHRSH is still set to the default of 20. I believe this will reduce my I/O and improve performance, but I wanted to know what other folks are doing. According to the manual I can set this up to 256. Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks,

I have the same question. We are seeing "log buffer pool shortage" warnings so hoping that increasing WRTHRSH would help.
Ours is set to 15. The default is 20 - even this seems low to me. _________________ Well, I don't think there is any question about it. It can only be attributable to human error. This sort of thing has cropped up before, and it has always been due to human error. |
