Hi Guys,

We have a requirement to model FIX(Financial Information Exchange ) 4.4 messages in App Connect Enterprise. We tried buying the support pac provided by IBM for FIX message. But we are not able to get it due to various reasons. Can anyone please let me know how to model FIX messages in DFDL or are there any message models available for modelling FIX messages in ACE.

Only the support pac that you already tried to get.

First, you will need to obtain a specification for the FIX messages that you want to model. I mean the specification btw, not just examples.
Then you will need to understand how to model that message format using DFDL. That will probably require some trial and error. Feel free to post specific questions if/when you hit problems with the DFDL modelling.

Thanks for the response. We have the specification document for FIX messages. The FIX specification version is 4.4. Our requirement is to map the corresponding tag values of FIX message to XML tag values.

For Eg:

8=FIX.4.49=28935=D

The Corresponding XML should be

<BeginString>FIX.4.4</BeginString>
<BodyLength>289</BodyLength>
<MsgType>D</MsgType>

Can anyone let me know how to model this FIX message to XML in DFDL

Good.

Not relevant to the question. Your problem is working out how to parse the FIX message. Mapping the DFDL message tree to an XMLNSC message tree is a completely separate problem.

Not yet. First you need to learn about DFDL. Until you do that you will not understand any answers you get.

Post again when you have tried to model the FIX message. We're happy to help, but we cannot do the job for you.
