Hi,
Am not sure if this was already asked. Whats the method/command used to check the broker to database connectivity in MB v6 for Solaris OS
Currently just taking over on an assignment to me where MB v6 on Solaris is used. I have the db user id and password with me in an excel sheet and wanted to try testing the connectivity from broker to db(Oracle)
hi...I think the command to verify odbc connections (mqsicvp) were introduced in v8 only. Can't you identify the list of DSNs configured in the odbc.ini file and test at least one flow per DSN to verify the database connectivity.
PS: It is possible to retrieve the database user id set via mqsisetdbparams by checking the 'UserId' file at the DSN folder but the same won't work for passwords as that is saved as encoded.
