Hi,
We are using IIB (V9) in our production, I was asked by developer to provide .Net info that comes with IIB, like what is the version of .Net, how can I check .Net version from IIB?
Thanks ! |

Sorry, I think I should provide this info earlier:
Our IIB server is installed on AIX server, so maybe the question is changed, the question now should be:
Is there any .Net platform embedded within IIB if IIB is installed on AIX machine?
Thanks ! |

No.
As the document indicates, you need to supply a .NET framework for the nodes to use. As Microsoft doesn't supply (and more importantly support) .NET on any OS other than Windows, this means that .NET nodes are only available on IIB running on Windows.
Now .NET Core is open source, this opens the door to some future possibilities, but IMHO we're still a long way from a production strength Linux implementation that IBM could leverage. _________________ Honesty is the best policy.
