My customer is installing to a Linux server. Downloading media. Want them to get a jump start on requesting the keys from the FED. I had them install MQ0T, iKenyman in not in the list of installed and when they right click on 'IBM WebSphere MQ' the 'Manage SSL Certificates' option does not show up. Do I have to download other IBM software to get this. On my laptop I have MQ installed and it is in the folder under IBM. |

Yes you need the MQ Client at a minimum
If you're going on a jump start looking for the FED key, do they already have the FED email telling them what they need to put into the CN field of the key request?. No need even starting the request if you don't have that....
Once you have that request you need to send it to the fed as they will sign it.
This is not a public CA Verisign type of setup... _________________ MQ & Broker admin |

Yes, the gskit too. More interesting is the involved process of getting a certrequest to the FED... _________________ MQ & Broker admin |

Sure if the client has done his preliminary work... If had the case where I had to coach him through the steps with the fed... Once the certs were installed it all worked like a charm... Did you also have to put the IP into the LOCLADDRESS ? _________________ MQ & Broker admin |
