I'm trying to write using java compute node-->Fileoutput node. The file is written in ANSI encoding format but i want it to be written in UTF-8 format. I have verified the MQ Properties encoding it is CCSID 1208 and encoding 546. Can someone help me to resolve this issue.
hi...the MQ properties you mentioned, I suppose you are seeing this on the MQInput node (it is not mentioned whether the flow is using MQInput as input).
Anyway you need to crosscheck how the CCSID/Encoding is set for the output message generated in the JCN before it is send out the FileOutput node. Ideally it should be set explicitly at the Output message tree (Output.Properties in this case) instead of simply copying from the Input header as it is not necessary that Source/Destination systems can deal with the same CCSID/Encoding.
You can check whether the output CCSID/Encoding are getting set by using a Trace node or via Toolkit flow debug mode.
The answer depends on which domain you are using when constructing the output message. What is your message format, and which domain are you using for OutputRoot?
