Hi,
We have upgraded IIB fixpack version from 10.0.0.6 to 10.0.0.8, While deploying one of the BAR file its failing with adminAgentThread_getDeployMessage error message (Same bar is working fine in 10.0.0.6 version)
.. Executing 'mqsideploy LUDBGN05 -e SBG_TRANS_XG_09 -a /esbcara/esb2/enbl1/WMB/package/CrAcctAuthListInq_v01.ENBL1.bar -w 180'
BIP1039I: Deploying BAR file '/esbcara/esb2/enbl1/WMB/package/CrAcctAuthListInq_v01.ENBL1.bar' to integration node 'LUDBGN05' (integration server 'SBG_TRANS_XG_09') ...
BIP1093E: The integration node rejected the deployment request and reported the following error(s):
BIP3701E: A Java exception was thrown whilst calling the Java JNI method ''AdminAgentThread_getDeployMessage''. The Java exception was ''org.w3c.dom.DOMException: INVALID_CHARACTER_ERR: An invalid or illegal XML character is specified. ''. The Java stack trace was ''Frame : 0 org.w3c.dom.DOMException: INVALID_CHARACTER_ERR: An invalid or illegal XML character is specified. | @: org.apache.xerces.dom.CoreDocumentImpl.createAttribute(Unknown Source)| @: org.apache.xerces.dom.ElementImpl.setAttribute(Unknown Source)| @: com.ibm.broker.config.deploymgr.DeployDescriptor.addMessageFlowProperties(DeployDescriptor.java:300)| @: com.ibm.broker.config.deploymgr.DeployableResourceCmf.appendBrokerXML(DeployableResourceCmf.java:424)| @: com.ibm.broker.config.deploymgr.AdminAgentThread.buildDeployPortionForZIPFileContents(AdminAgentThread.java:611)| @: com.ibm.broker.config.deploymgr.AdminAgentThread.buildDeployPortionForZIPFileContents(AdminAgentThread.java:689)| @: com.ibm.broker.config.deploymgr.AdminAgentThread.getDeployMessage(AdminAgentThread.java:953)|''.
Correct the error, and if necessary redeploy the flow.
hi...does the BAR file contains flows with promoted properties which get overridden as part of the deployment? If so it is worth verifiying whether those parameters are getting set properly with correct values for the 10.0.0.8 deployment.
Also have you tried recompiling the BAR file via 10.0.0.8 toolkit just to see that helps.
