Note SuppX: After the withdrawal from support date, extended support will not be offered.

Does that apply to all platforms (such as z/OS)?

Isn't it usual for IBM to offer 5 years standard and 3 years extended support?

I usually refer to this page for End of Life info because it shows every version and every platform:

https://www-01.ibm.com/software/support/lifecycleapp/PLCSearch.wss?q=MQ&ibm-search=Search

But they haven't updated it yet to reflect what that announcement letter says.

MQ 8.0 is listed on that page as having a Policy Type of "E" for Enhanced.

This page says Enhanced gets you 5 years minimum, with an option for at least 3 additional years of extended for an additional charge
https://www-01.ibm.com/software/support/lifecycle/lc-policy.html

I wonder about this discrepancy. When MQ 8 was announced and for the last few years that LifeCycle page says 5 years + 3 years. But that announcement letter says no Extended will be offered if I read it correctly.

This letter is wrong. It will be corrected, as extended support will be available.
