We are facing slowness issue in the application, where I am in a position to prove there is no delay in processing the messages at MQ. |

Really? Do you know how out of support that is?
See here, here, and here. Mix and match as needed for your specific requirements.
Also point out to whoever's complaining that they're lucky a 15 year old OS is still running, and the slowdown is probably due to malware exploiting vulnerabilities MSoft haven't bothered to fix in this obsolete version.
(Probably not the case, but might scare the management into upgrading to software produced in the last decade) _________________ Honesty is the best policy.

Agreed Out of support version.
There wasnt any such issues(messages processing delay) observed before(before I mean two months back since)
Do we have by any chance to identify the message timings - incoming/outgoing from MQ |

Vitor, when copying the links are not copied as well. I restored the first one, I'll let you restore the rest... _________________ MQ & Broker admin |

You're a better man than me. I left him to look at my previous post, where the links remain in their pristine state _________________ Honesty is the best policy.

Milliseconds may not be good enough resolution for MQ. Messages may take less than 1 millisecond to go through MQ.
Slow down is most likely due to application processing of messages (accessing databases etc.) or resource capacity (most likely network bandwith/contention, CPU, memory, and disk I/O). _________________ Glenn |
