I have to delete an old queue manager which lost its working files (accidentally deleted)
In IBM Knowledge center for version 7.0 it was a paragraph "Removing queue managers manually" (https://www.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/en/SSFKSJ_7.0.1/com.ibm.mq.amqzag.doc/fa22320_.htm)
But I can't find any instruction for MQ 8.0
Please help
You could try it similar to the cold start technique...
You could also just make sure that all relevant qmgrs/<qmgr> and logs/<qmgr> files and directories have been deleted and then run rmvmqinf for the corresponding qmgr... It is a bit more complicated in windows as there are some memory entries as well... but with a bit of luck rmvmqinf should take care of that...
If you attempt this procedure, please ensure first that there is no more process running with the qmgrs name on it... _________________ MQ & Broker admin
