Do distributed MQ platforms (Windows or Linux in particular) have a functional equivalent to the z/OS RACF switch profiles like ssid.NO.QUEUE.SECURITY etc?

The best I can think of if that the OIM can be disabled to remove all security from a distributed queue manager, which is less granular than the switch profiles. _________________ Honesty is the best policy.

No. I have never been convinced that the z/OS MQ switch profiles were a good idea. They seem to cause more issues and confusion that what they are worth. _________________ Glenn
