Having worked with MQ and IIB for years now, recently started working on FTE a lot more though i knew what it did prior to that.
I got to tell you, this product sucks. Agents just hang for no reason. Agent responds to pings and shows as READY on list command but doesnt pick up files.
The only thing we do is right click on the monitor job, edit and click finish that magically starts processing again. No information in the logs whether polling is happening and why the agent is not able to pick up files.
this happens a lot, agent just sits there doing nothing. |

Like any product, it takes some time to fully understand the quirks and usage of FTE / MFT. If files transfers are not going through, there will be an explanation.
fteShowAgentDetails command relies on the agent regularly publishing its status to the status coordinator, so the command output and the messages on an agent's STATE queue do not alway align at any point in time.
