when you do ODBC, JDBC, SFTP, etc in IIB the passwords and UID's are captured in mqsisetdbparms. Is there a methodology to use this for other implementations.

Example. I have a customer that is coding his own Type4JDBC calls outside of the IIB implementation. From another post, he is trying to get around the restriction of no commits in the JDBC calls because of the IIB connection architecture. He need to provide SSL Paths, UID, Passwords. All these are captures as shown below in the IIB Broker Properties for the EG. Can theses be accessed, used in the way he is trying to set his JDBC calls up???????

Code:

mqsichangeproperties CFNODE -e USCHECK -o HTTPSConnector -n sslProtocol -v TLS
mqsichangeproperties CFNODE -e USCHECK -o HTTPSConnector -n keystoreFile -v /keys/KeystoreUSCHECK.jks
mqsichangeproperties CFNODE -e USCHECK -o HTTPSConnector -n keystorePass -v 'pa$$w0rd' <-- supply keystore password

mqsichangeproperties CFNODE -e USCHECK -o ComIbmJVMManager -n keystoreFile -v /keys/KeystoreUSCHECK.jks
mqsichangeproperties CFNODE -e USCHECK -o ComIbmJVMManager -n keystoreType -v JKS
mqsichangeproperties CFNODE -e USCHECK -o ComIbmJVMManager -n keystorePass -v USCHECKKeystore::password
mqsichangeproperties CFNODE -e USCHECK -o ComIbmJVMManager -n truststoreFile -v /keys/TruststoreUSCHECK.jks
mqsichangeproperties CFNODE -e USCHECK -o ComIbmJVMManager -n truststoreType -v JKS
mqsichangeproperties CFNODE -e USCHECK -o ComIbmJVMManager -n truststorePass -v USCHECKTruststore::password

mqsisetdbparms CFNODE -n USCHECKKeystore::password -u ignore -p 'pa$$w0rd' <-- supply keystore password
mqsisetdbparms CFNODE -n USCHECKTruststore::password -u ignore -p 'pa$$w0rd' <-- supply truststore password
