Hi,
I am trying to apply MQ permissions to a GLOBAL DOMAIN group which I am successful. But the subgroups under it doesn't seem to inherit the same.
MQ v8.0.0.5 - Windows
Commands I used below:
setmqaut -m QM -t queue -n Q1 -g DOMAIN1\GROUP1 +get +put +inq +dsp +setall
Here,
Global domain group: DOMAIN1\GROUP1
Sub group: SUBGRP1
P.S. I have included the below stanza in qm.ini
GroupModel=GlobalGroups
Please can you assist |

I don't see in the documentation where it says that they do. _________________ Honesty is the best policy.

It wasn't mentioned in the documentation. But was expecting that it would inherit.
Ok what do we need to do for this. |

I see a couple of actions:
- a PMR to see if it's supposed to cascade through the child groups, and obtain an APAR if it is
- a scrap of script to walk the groups and apply the permissions to each one _________________ Honesty is the best policy.
