I removed an existing installation of MQ 7.0.1.6 and installed MQ v9.0.0.0 on a solaris server. Each time I start the QMGR I see this error
XX/XX/XX XX:XX:XX - Process(15038.1) Program(saveqmgr.solari)
Host(ptsuatgw) Installation(Installation1)
VRMF(9.0.0.0)
AMQ8597: This process is linked with an unsupported shared library.
EXPLANATION:
A IBM MQ shared library '/opt/mqm/lib64/libmqmcs.so' was detected in this
process before the first connection to a queue manager was made.
Linking applications to this shared library is not supported.
The application will fail with reason code MQRC_ENVIRONMENT_ERROR until the
application has been re-linked without libmqmcs and libmqmzse.
ACTION:
Re-link your application, omitting the -lmqmcs and -lmqmzse options from the
command line.
This message can be suppressed by setting the AMQ_NO_MQMCS_MSG environment
variable to any value.
Server info;
root@xxxx# uname -a
SunOS ptsuatgw 5.10 Generic_150400-03 sun4v sparc SUNW,SPARC-Enterprise-T2000
1.What causes this issue?
2.What library file is this libmqmcs.so?
saveqmgr??
I am not using saveqmgr. I just see this error when ever I restart the QMGR.
Are you sure? mqjeff was referring to this in your original post: XX/XX/XX XX:XX:XX - Process(15038.1) Program(saveqmgr.solari)
So potentially you are.
Do you perhaps have a Service defined that calls it? _________________ It's puzzling, I don't think I've ever seen anything quite like this before...and it's hard to soar like an eagle when you're surrounded by turkeys.
