IIB GlobalCache length of key,should this be more than 5 ?
I get a connection error from cache when the length of data used for Key is less than 6 characters.
When I increase the length of data that is used for Key to 6 or more, then this connection error on MBGlobalMap.put is resolved.
Have you noticed this before ?
BIP7166E: A connectivity exception occurred while interacting with map 'ABCD'. A client attempted operation 'put' with map 'ABCD' from grid 'EFGH'. This attempt failed for the following reason: 'com.ibm.websphere.objectgrid.ObjectGridRuntimeException:
IIB version : 10.0.0.8
I dont see any documentation that limits the length of Key to be used for global cache. |

Well.
You appear to be getting an "com.ibm.websphere.objectgrid.ObjectGridRuntimeException".
Perhaps this object contains more information about the issue, or the next few BIP messages provide more information.
But if you can really, solidly, demonstrate that it's directly tied to the length of the key, then you should open a PMR.

Adding this note for future reference.
This issue with globalCache key length was repeatable and occured for every test case that we executed. This issue occurred even after multiple reload of cache IntegrationServer(EG)
But after reloading the broker, I havent faced this issue again. Global cache key can be of length 1 or more characters now. |
