Hi,
I am getting error in modelling the below structure

DetailRecord (Complex element - Repeating) --Repeating element identifier specified as <LF>
G1 (Complex element - single occurrence)
H1 (Complex element - Repeating) --Repeating element identifier specified as <LF>

Sample data:
G1ABC123<LF>
H1DDDMNC33XXX<LF>
G1FGH222<LF>
H1EEEPOQ22XXX<LF>
H1BBBMNC44XXX<LF>


TDS physical format; Data Element Separation - Fixed Length; Toolkit version: 9.0.0.4; Platform: Windows;


I am getting the below error:
First two record lines parsed fine, but while parsing the third record line, it is considering as H1 structure not as G1 structure.
Kindly help me in resolving the issue.
Please let me know if you need any other details.

First, switch to DFDL.

Second, you should use indicators (tags) to decide what record type you are dealing with.
