				| Hi all,
Anyone knows how to find the version of BlockIP2 currently installed (on Linux)? We want to see how old it is before deciding whether or not to upgrade to v3.

 TIA,
 MRule

				| Out of curiosity, are you on a version of MQ that doesn't have CHLAUTH? _________________

				| We are on MQv7.5 and still use setmqaut (matter of preference). | |

				| I should add that we've decided to continue using BlockIP2 because of its logging feature. I don't want to get into the discussion of CHLAUTH vs BlockIP2 pros & cons here (respectfully)...We just need to know what version of BlockIP2 is installed currently.
 TIA

				| setmqaut only sets object authorities, BlockIP2 is a channel exit that provides the functionality that is now inbuilt with CHLAUTH.
NOTE: I'm not saying they're exactly alike, I've not taken the time to do a like-for-like comparison to check whether they provide exactly the same functionality.

Edit: Saw your next post on the subject after I'd posted my reply - perhaps contact the vendor to ask directly?
